CBDT has extended several income tax report submitting and return filing due dates for the AY 2021-22 in the light of increasing covid cases causing difficulties to the taxpayers vide its circular 01/2022 dated 11.01.2022. The summary of circular is as follows.

• The due date for furnishing tax audit report which was earlier extended till 15.01.2022 has now been extended to 15.02.2022.
• The due date for furnishing transfer pricing report which was extended till 31.01.2022 has now been extended to 15.02.2022.
• The due date for filing the income tax return for tax audit and corporate taxpayers extended till 15.02.2022 has now been further extended to 15.03.2022.
• The due date for filing the income tax return in case of transfer pricing applicable taxpayers which was earlier extended till 28.02.2022 has now been extended to 15.03.2022.
